The session on 'Sexual Violence and the Death Penalty' held at St. Stephen's College, New Delhi sought to throw light on the empirical realities of sexual violence and the death penalty. The discussion was followed by Q&A on whether death penalty is the solution to sexual violence through dialogue between Ms. Vani Subramanian, a women's rights activist and documentary film maker and Dr Anup Surendranath, Executive Director, Project 39A National Law University, Delhi.
